Abby Joy B.

So today we have a cover reveal and also a book launch. Our dear author, Hannah, contacted me if I could be part of her book launch. And I am stoked to be part of it. She is an indie author, so I hope we could support her by reading her books! :D

Introducing her new book

"A Strange Kind of Familiar"
Cover Image Credit: www.freedigitalphotos.net
Release Date: March 1, 2014
Synopsis:
Phia's summer gets turned upside down when her sister Lucy arrives home from college and declares that she no longer wants to be a lawyer, and instead has decided to become an actress. While trying to figure out what's gotten into her sister, Phia is repeatedly thrown into the path of Lucy's best friend Daniel, who's also back in town after his first year at college.

As Lucy begins to draw away from her family and Daniel in the pursuit of her newly acquired acting dream, it leaves Phia and Daniel spending a lot of time together. As they begin to get to know each other, they discover that they have a lot in common, especially their love of music.

About the Author:
Hannah Harvey is a twenty two year old author of young adult fiction. She's self published two previous books, 'How I Got Here' and 'After Summer' both of which are available on the Kindle marketplace.
She runs her own blog where she reviews all the books she reads, talks about her writing and does other book related things.

When not working on her writing, Hannah is an avid reader.

Soooo, today is the day of hearts aka valentines day! And I pretty much going to spend it in school just because....classes. And today we have a cover reveal!!!

Synopsis:
I have a plan.

We'll either destroy them for good, or they'll destroy us.

Either way, only one of us is walking away.

In the stunning conclusion to the wildly popular White Rabbit Chronicles, Alice 'Ali' Bell thinks the worst is behind her. She's ready to take the next step with boyfriend Cole Holland, the leader of the zombie slayers; until Anima Industries, the agency controlling the zombies, launches a sneak attack, killing four of her friends. It's then she realizes that humans can be more dangerous than monsters; and the worst has only begun.

As the surviving slayers prepare for war, Ali discovers she, too, can control the zombies and she isn't the girl she thought she was. She's connected to the woman responsible for killing and turning Cole's mother. How can their relationship endure? As secrets come to light, and more slayers are taken or killed, Ali will fight harder than ever to bring down Anima even sacrificing her own life for those she loves.

Alice in Zombieland was a surprise read for me! And I already read the second book which is the Through the Zombie Glass, but apparently the first one was better. Sooooo now that the cover + synopsis + publish date is released, I am just going to patiently wait for it!

The cover is just so freaking fabulous. I meaaaaan look at that pretty gal with some peculiar arrangement of hair. It reeks fierceness and ferociousness (which Alice needs badly). And the chair is pink, my fave. I couldn't love this book more!!!! *officially includes this in fave 2014 covers*

How about you? What can you say about the cover?
And I do recommend this series. It's nothing like Alice in Wonderland, but we all got the subtle hints from it!

GOODREADS

Fracture Me
Author: Tahereh Mafi (Novella)
Release Date: December 17, 2013

Synopsis:
In this electrifying sixty-page companion novella to the New York Times bestselling Shatter Me series, discover the fate of the Omega Point rebels as they go up against The Reestablishment. Set during and soon after the final moments of Unravel Me, Fracture Me is told from Adam's perspective.

As Omega Point prepares to launch an all-out assault on The Reestablishment soldiers stationed in Sector 45, Adam's focus couldn't be further from the upcoming battle. He's reeling from his breakup with Juliette, scared for his best friend's life, and as concerned as ever for his brother James's safety. And just as Adam begins to wonder if this life is really for him, the alarms sound. It's time for war.

On the battlefield, it seems like the odds are in their favor—but taking down Warner, Adam's newly discovered half brother, won't be that easy. The Reestablishment can't tolerate a rebellion, and they'll do anything to crush the resistance . . . including killing everyone Adam has ever cared about.

Fracture Me sets the stage for Ignite Me, the explosive finale in Tahereh Mafi's epic dystopian series. It's a novella not to be missed by fans who crave action-packed stories with tantalizing romance like Divergent by Veronica Roth, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, and Legend by Marie Lu.

The cover is as gorgeous as the other book covers in the series.  HANDS DOWN!!! I admit that I haven't started with this series yet, but I've been eyeing over this series for quite long. Soon I'll get my hands over the first book. SOON. PLEASE. SOON. Last words: GORGEOUS COVER

Don't look back
Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout
Publish Date: April 15, 2014
Genre: YA, contemporary, romance

Synopsis:
Samantha is a stranger in her own life. Until the night she disappeared with her best friend, Cassie, everyone said Sam had it all-popularity, wealth, and a dream boyfriend.

Sam has resurfaced, but she has no recollection of who she was or what happened to her that night. As she tries to piece together her life from before, she realizes it's one she no longer wants any part of. The old Sam took "mean girl" to a whole new level, and it's clear she and Cassie were more like best enemies. Sam is pretty sure that losing her memories is like winning the lottery. She's getting a second chance at being a better daughter, sister, and friend, and she's falling hard for Carson Ortiz, a boy who has always looked out for her-even if the old Sam treated him like trash.

But Cassie is still missing, and the facts about what happened to her that night isn't just buried deep inside of Sam's memory-someone else knows, someone who wants to make sure Sam stays quiet. All Sam wants is the truth, and if she can unlock her clouded memories of that fateful night, she can finally move on. But what if not remembering is the only thing keeping Sam alive?
Holy gorgeous cover! So far, this is my fave book cover from Jlynn's books. Also, the blurb sounds promising although I've read a couple of books with the same premise! But anything Jlynn is on my TBR list. Black Swan meets Pretty Little Liars??? I am so getting this book!

What do you guys think about the cover and the blurb?

Thought: Does Kasie West ever go wrong? I'm escalated that my first read for 2017 was a squee-filled one. This was utterly adorable. The main character, Lily, is a very witty person. It wasn't hard to love her and her family.
