1. Cold cold cold overnight swimming! My friend, James, celebrated his birthday with a swimming getaway. We went overnight swimming (7pm-4am) in a resort. It was already cold around 11 pm and we stayed on the pool for one hour haha! (weaklings!) The rest of the time we ate A LOT, played UNO cards where our friendships were tested, pusoy dos (I only won twice!), 1-2-3 pass and lots of storytime plus *wink wink* revelations 🙊🙈🙉

2. White House Burger with Ivan. Oh gaaah, the burgers there are yuuuuuuum and the price ranges from 20 pesos to 50 pesos ONLY! I introduced it to Ivan this week and he keeps asking if we could buy there for merienda ♥

3. Truffles Attack! One of my friend introduced me to this girl who's selling chocolate truffles and cheessecake all around the campus. She's selling so she can support her expense in Mapua. The first time I ate one M&M truffle, I was floored! And now I keep coming back for more. Her truffles are haven for people with sweet tooth like me. (IVAN IS SUCH A SLY FLUFFBALL huhu he keeps surprising me ♥)

4. After three weeks of being stucked in a dorm-school setup, I finally had the chance to go home in Antipolo. I missed my mom's cooking and we also celebrated dad's 52nd birthday YAY!

5. PS: I Like You by Kasie West. My first book of the year turned out very swoony! This is my 6th novel from Kasie. SHE'S THAT AWESOME, I SWEAR. Her books are my feel-good and to-go-to books ♥ Check it out here.

6. I finally finished Plate 1 of our Microwave Design class. I've been doing this for a week now. It's so complicated but I think the design went well.

7. Two overnights in one week. Blame our plate 1! It's so fun to procrastinate and do school works with college friends. What actually happened: 50% eating time, 25% actual school work and 25% talking, story time and shenanigans 😏

1. My dad's health is finally okay. He had kidney issues and was in fact operated last November due to a large stone in his kidney. Just this afternoon he had his check-up and the result said his medical is clear. Thank you, Papa Jesus ♥♥

2. Ramen Kuroda Unli Noodles with bestfriends and boyfriend. We finally decided to meet and try the unli noodles in Ramen Kuroda. It was a memorable lunch date because my bestfriends finally met Ivan ♥ The laughs and stories were priceless ♥

3. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo and Goblin. I know it's not totally a happy feeling to see these dramas ending because DUHH these are liiiiiiiiiife. But watching those characters get what they deserve makes me so happy. They are off to their rightful journeys. I love these dramas and cast so much. Currently watching: Hwarang

4. First anticipated mass with Ivan. Since we couldn't attend a Sunday masss due to an org event, we decided to attend the anticipated mass in UST. 

5. Starting my part-time job. It's not that grand, but I am a student assistant in cisco and ccesc office in our school. I have 6 hours duty every week and so far I'm really getting the hang of it. It was fun even a little tiring. It helps me to develop leadership, communication, initiative and also improve my technical skills. Plus, I badly need money, tbh.

6. MILKTEA!! After being deprived of my favorite milktea in Intramuros for almost two months, I finally had one yesterday! I♥MILKTEA's cookies and cream, nata de coco, 50% sugar = HEAVENNNNNN.

7. Kids Try videos. If you haven't watch any kids try video of Watch Cut, then go ahead and leave this blog. Go watchhhhh it now! HUHU the kids are so adorable especially Desmond and Ernie ♥_♥

8. Less than 50 units left. I only have one more year in college for my ECE degree. #RoadtoZeroUnits this December.

9. ETAN Dash 2k17. Honor Society of Mapua had its amazing race last Sunday, and our group won!! *cheers* It was worth the energy and effort. It was tiring, but it was worth it ♥

There are lot of things to be thankful for for the past three weeks of January. I am so glad that this year's starting good for me. A new term just began in Mapua and I can feel the deadlines already haha. I guess when the 5th week comes, I'll be getting busier :(

Ramen Kuroda's SM Manila branch is having their unli noodles promo from Jan 16-22, 2017. Ever since I read their facebook post, I got enticed. UNLI NOODLES? Heck, yes! I wouldn't let this pass even if I am on a diet (weh haha). My bestfriend and I planned to eat there last Wednesday during our breaks. SM Manila, being so near to Mapua was a very convenient place cause I didn't need to commute.

When we got there, some tables were already occupied even an hour after the mall opening. This just shows how many people are also hooked on this promo. The place didn't give off a Japanese vibes, but it sure was cozy. The manager and staff greeted us with a loud welcome in Japanese (or atleast that's what I thought). They were very accommodating, leading us to the table, getting the menu and orders and most of all, serve the food and response to our requests.

The unli noodles is applicable for their regular Ramen, Chashumen and Set Meals. Since my friends and I wanted to try their ramen, we only ordered the ramen without other viands like curry, katsudon, gyoza and etc. Me and Klaire ordered Shiro Ramen (180 pesos) while Jael ordered Kuro Ramen  (180 pesos). None of us wanted to order the spicy one 😁 We got one slice of pork and half boiled egg (you guuuys, I loved their boiled egg so much!) If you want more pork on your ramen, you can upgrade. There are ramen bowls of the same flavor for 230 pesos.

We were in quite a hurry since Klaire had to attend a meeting We only had almost an hour and half to eat and catch-up (which sucked cause I wanted more kwentos! haha). 

The food were great. For a price of 180, these ramen surpass the expectation for that kind price. I really enjoyed the taste of the rich flavors. Suffice to say these were worth the money and visit. The Kuro Ramen has a richer flavor compared to the Shiro one because of the garlic favor. I kinda regret choosing basic Shiro. 

Now for the unli noodles part....... When you want to order a bowl of extra noodles, you just have to ask the crew. They brought black bowls with plain noodles, and boy was it heaaaaavy. The noodles itself can make you super full. The noodles leave a heavy feeling to the stomach. Just one set can make you already full, but since we were marveling at the 'unli noodles' we decided to get one extra each. Klaire didn't finish her 2nd noodles haha. But I know a friend of mine who had 4 extra noodles!! I'm in awe to be honest. Two servings of noodles were already too much for my stomach, but 4? That is something! I think my only complain was that the extra noodles were kind of hard as if it's not yet fully cooked compared to the ones originally served with the soup. I don't know if that's just for that day or what. 

The fun part was the latter where my bestfriends met my boyfriend, Ivan, for the first time in person ♥♥. He came in a tad late because he had another class 😁 The joy of being with the people you love in one table -- eating and having fun while chatting made that lunch date extra special ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (yep. that many hearts haha). I really had a great time albeit the short amount of time spent.

I wrote a post about my top 5 korean drama of 2016, but as I was finalizing it, I came to a halt. I reread my mini review for each drama and thought to myself, gosh 3 out of 5 of these have more negative comments than positive, and if I could rate those 3 dramas, all of them would've gotten 3 stars. My post might even discourage the readers more than excite and pique their interest. I realized that my expectation and standard on korean dramas have ridiculously rose. So, instead of writing my top 5 for 2016, I'm just going to list all the dramas I watched in 2016 and be really honest on my thoughts. 

PS: I hope it's not too late for this. 
PSS: All of the dramas I'm going to mention aired last 2016- two of which are still airing.

This, without a doubt, is my favorite kdrama of 2016. It has a cute, CUTE couple that are just too irresistible (even guys that I know are hooked to this drama).  It's very refreshing, and sweet, but with right dose of complexity. It's very realistic for me.  Anyone can experience the love story, the conflicts, and the struggles. This drama also focuses on mental health especially the mental pressure and anxiety people feel. Other thing I love about this drama is the fact that other supporting characters and their back stories are incorperated to add wonder to the drama. WARNING in advance: this is cuteness OVERLOAD. I'm telling you!! Prepare your hearts for some heartwarming cuteness that will make you feel all sorts of kilig. And now, I'm gushing. PS: Still an ongoing drama, but I stand by my rating no matter what 😍😍

This show started off really great. It had the quality of a drama that you couldn't help but to marvel until the end due to its parallel universe and jumping-from-one-world-to-another premise. It even has a very charming and lovely main characters: Lee Jung Sook (heart eyes) and Han Hyo Joo (more heart eyes). But I found the story just running around circles. There were a lot of questions not answered and I was just left hanging til the end.

Don't throw your pitchforks at me, folks. I liked this one because it has a very interesting arc regarding the conflicting beliefs of two lovers, but sadly in the end, it didn't deliver. The storyline just came off neutral; not too shoddy, but not too stellar. On the contrary, it has appealing characters with Joong Ki and Hye Kyo as leading actors. It did make me laugh and sad at times (when it should be). I think the factor that really stand out here was the BROMANCE and FRIENDSHIP among the characters. The factor alone would earn this drama a 5 star. There's no question to that. We even have a side romance that could surpass the main romance.
