Beyond the Pages: The Maze Runner Movie
This is not a very comprehensible, detailed review because I don't have the capacity to. HAHA. I am a bum right now, but let's discuss the movie shall we?
Girl 1: That Thomas is hot!! *squeeeee*
Girl 2: Dylan O'Brien or Thomas Sangster?
Girl 1: Ooh, there's two Thomas?

Girl 3: Wow, dylan is hot!
Boy (i supposed her boyfriend): yeah, but the movie is not that cool.
Girl 3: Oh, come on. It's because a bunch of hot boys are the main characters.
Boy: Yeah and only one hot girl *with an audible sigh*
Girl 3: *playfully punch the boy*

Mom: So, that's the movie you're excited about?
Me: Don't be a bummer, Mom. The movie was good, you got to admit it!
Mom: I just didn't get it. But the boys were all good-looking so there's that.
Me & Sister: *looks at each other and nods*

And so goes all the praise for the hot teenagers.
Actually, I really took time to eavesdrop after the movie was done. It actually helped me to evaluate the movie. Forgive me random strangers. XD
This movie succeeds to remain ominous but highly entertaining. The maze, the glade, down to all the visual effects were all fascinating. I couldn't agree no more when they say that they really brought out the book to movie setting-wise. However, when it comes to the chair-grabbing and mind-blowing aspect, it was really lacking. It's not that it wasn't that enjoyable, but for some who seek for an all out action and "oh shoot thAT WAS INTENSE" I was really expecting more. The maze.. oh the maze... I hope they maximized the visual of the maze. All the running were pretty short. These are my only quibbles because the movie has really exciting, intriguing and surprising things to offer.
- ACTORS WERE ALL GOOD YEAH RAW AND REFRESHING AND SWEATY AND DIRTY
- Two thumbs up plus my toes for explaining in a cryptic yet comprehensible (because yeah they're going to finish this trilogy so limited information first) way why they were inside the maze. For those, who haven't read the book will understand the whole set-up eventually.

- WONDERFUL BOND AND CONNECTION AMONG THE CHARACTERS
- THE DESSERT OH MAN THAT ENDING IS FULL OF PROMISE OF WHAT TO COME
Congratulations to the whole crew of The Maze Runner for being #1 box office movie!! Now, I am ready for Phase 2 aka The Scorch Trials on Sept 18, 2015
