• Because of Low (Sea Breeze #2): Really entertaining. Gripping. It tackled a very sensitive social issue that concerns affairs in family. It was a hard subject but the writing made it lightweight. As soon as the story starts, Marcus Hardy instantly snugged all my attention. He's so charming, funny, gentleman (yes he's hot but he's more than oozing hot or yummy!). He loves his family and he was his family's strength in times of mishap. Willow is a strong heroine, I found myself liking her despite the fact that I feel that she was selfish sometimes (because of that thing with Cage). Their relationship wasn't rushed, as well as reconciliation that happened in the end. I loved that their relationship worked in progress. And man the s scene? You'll be surprise!

• Misbehaving (Sea Breeze #4): Kudos to this book! It made me misty-eyed. That says a lot to be honest. Once a story got me engaged, I know that it won't be long for me to call it as a very very good emotional book. It sort of wrecked me because the situation of Jesse is very poignant. Although she's known for causing trouble and the kind of "make-all-boys-kneel" because of his body, she still is a very vulnerable and insecure person. Jason is rich and quite famous because of his brother, but he isn't a jerk and cold prince in the making. He's also charming, playful, naughty (in a way), genuine and thoughtful. The chemistry between them is palpable, that I admit made me really like this book. Their relationship also went to a lot of downhill and while I enjoyed those parts (I was in a mood for a dramatic one), my heart also ached for them to be just together. Both Jesse and Jason amazed me. That and the "out of my league" plot made me really like this book.

This is the kind of story that will play with your emotions ruthlessly, make your stomach and cheeks hurt because of the laughs and will probably throw you into a frenzy of feels. A brilliant novel that tackles about the struggle of different characters but most of the time it is about Isis Blake, the main character also the voice of the book.

Let me start by saying: GO READ THIS NOW. There I said it, now, let's go to the actual thing. Reading the synopsis made me iffy for it sounds to cliche and cheesy. Really, Ice Prince? But I was shocked when I saw all the shining 4 & 5 stars review in goodreads (top reviews btw) and thought why not give a try?

I AM SO GLAD I DID. Read it in one sitting and absolutely regretted nothing. There's so many things to like about this book. First we have a very noteworthy, dimensional, sharp-witted, FUNNY protagonist who has an exceptional talent in comical blabbering. Even her one liners can make me laugh easily. But her life isn't perfect, despite the lost of weight and a chance to be away from this nameless guy who hurt her more that she could ever bare, she still feel insecure and scared and broken from her past experience. BUT SHE'S STRONG. So fucking strong, I almost cried when I was reading some scenes that I thought she'll crumble into a puddle of mess. On the other hand she talks too much and thinks too much aka blabbers too much. Sometimes I want to duck tape her mouth or thoughts because those were overwhelming, but as the story progressed I learned to go along with it - not minding it at all! She simply skyrocketed her way to my favorite YA heroine list. And this specific line here needs to be highlighted because that speaks it all.

“She was probably a trusting, naïve girl before him, like a daisy. And then he came, and pulled her petals off one by one, forcing her to surround herself with thorns to survive. But he missed one petal. And she guards it with a tiger's ferocity.” 

Now we meet Jack Hunter, Ice Prince of East Summit High. A total hottie - brooding handsome with lots of women fawning over him - but he's also the epitome of coldness and distant; ass and arrogant; but behind those facades lies a dark past. Really dark!! He's also a total nerd, and a Harvard passer! Beat that! He made me frustrated with his actions, but at the same time made me "Awwwwww" more than "Ughhh". I can't give much info about him for I might spoil some important bits about the story.

THE BANTER! This is also one of the things to look forward to in reading this book. Isis and Jack's battle of wits & insults, physical war and a whole lot crazy revenge they throw at each other totally made me guffaw. A piece of advice: DON'T DRINK OR EAT ANYTHING WHEN YOU'RE READING THEIR SCENES TOGETHER.  It's very evident that they exude a burning chemistry even if it's all hate and war. And what I love about their relationship is they never started off as INSTA-LOVE. It was slow & blossoming. I just want them to be together you know? Ughhh all the unsaid feelings!! All all all the heartaches and poignant little revelations broke my heart into a gazillion pieces.

“ - delicately approach you. In a sideways manner. From behind. Without being seen at all. For ten minutes.”

"You could do the fair maidens of the school a favor and inform them you're gay," I say.
"Didn't you read the sign?" He asks coolly without looking up, "No harpies in the library" 

"I see everyone's here!" I cheerily bounce into a seat next to him and unlace my shoes. I glance over, as if seeing him for the first time. "Alright, which one of you's been dabbling in demon summoning and hasn't told me about it?" 

There's this dark and suspenseful plot in the story. That makes everything exciting and a lot thrilling. Unraveling of secrets and putting together the pieces of a mysterious & haunting puzzle will prevent anyone to bring this book down. And let me just mention how friendship and family ties were greatly manifested by the characters.

Overall, it was really a memorable read for me. Let's just say that if you hate immature dialogues, then you might want to avoid this book, but other than that this book was well-written and enjoyable for such haunting plot.

"What the fuck is 'the fandom'?"

"You wouldn't understand," Cath sighed, wishing she hadn't used that word, knowing that if she tried to explain herself any further, it would just make it worse.

The story was a little bit confusing at first because of the change in stories. One second it is on Cath's story and then another second it is about Simon Snow, Baz and all the magical creatures I am not familiar of, but I got used to it as pages dragged by. One thing I am sure of, Simon Snow is Harry Potter and the story of Simon Snow is the Harry Potter series. I loved every page of this book. I loved how everything turns out the way it should have.

Cath. I can see myself in her. Not 100% alike but atleast 75% yes. She is a fangirl (wait not just a fangirl, it will always be more than just a "fangirl"), reader, fanfic writer, socially awkward and "i-am-too-stubborn-so-please-leave-me-alone type of teenager. She is more of I rather read or write or maybe lock myself inside the room 24/7 than to hang out and party my ass out with people and that is exactly why I love her. She is a tad melodramatic and stubborn that irks me, but I'am cool with that.

"I can't believe Abel told me this girl's ACT score," she said. "What am I supposed to do with that? Offer her a scholarship?"

Levi. He wasn't describe as a total hottie with six pack abs and a sex appeal to kill for, but she is the right kind of realistic guy that I want in my life. He keeps on smiling and smiling and smiling and too nice around people. There's a subtle line between being nice and being flirty (that's what Cath thought). He was perfectly flawed. I want him. I want a guy like him. Toothy grin. Lazy guy. Stupid at times. Flirty demeanor that will make a goo out of anyone. He's just so realistic and sweet it actually hurts my soul. 

"You look so blindingly cute right now, I feel like I need to make a pinhole in a piece of paper just to look at you."

Secondary characters like Wren, Reagan & Cath's dad are the exact characters I've dreamed of. They were exceptionally rude and funny and bland and flawed and cool. Just cool! Too cool. I loved the family relation of Cath-their dad-Wren. I also like Reagan and her fuck off, i dont care about you, oh please you suck, you are so stupid it hurts my cells attitude. She is the kind of bestfriend slash roomate i want. The development between Reagan and Cath 's relationship was lucid and extremely funny. They are polar opposite. Total opposite. It's just impressive how they deal with each other and became cool friends. Atleast that's what I thought.

"I feel sorry for you, and I'm going to be your friend."

"I don't want to be your friend," Cath said as sternly as she could. "I like that we're not friends."

"Me, too. I'm sorry you ruined it by being so pathetic."

Levi and Cath. Nuff with them. I am squeaaaaaaling. They are so cute. Fluffy. Steamy. Fluffy and steamy at the same time. Do I make sense? They have their own worlds and I like it that they are lost on their own world. Just the two of them. 

This book also made me realize how writers were developed and mend to be enduring and firm. They are sharpened by writer's block, fixed by 'almost giving up' and changed by 'I write because this is what makes me happy. I am free when I write. I am lost when I write' It was so touching. I can feel Cath's grieve whenever she can't find out the right story to write or words to fill in. 

I almost cried when they were on the part of receiving the last book of their favorite series. That scene was the best. It was gripping and consuming. I felt that too when The Last Battle, Clockwork Princess, The Last Olympian, and other last books from my favorite series were released. Heart-breaking but at the same time heart-warming and asfdghjkjhgfdsdfgh.

Totally worth reading and recommending.

Review:
First love. First heartbreak. Second chance. 

It was an okay book for me. It started off pretty exciting knowing that Charley and Jake had this amorous deep past, but as the story goes further I found myself scowling at some points and wincing at the twists. Yeah yeah. I suck at this kind of genre. The resolution was at the very far end and it was okay since it has books to follow, but can we realy call it a resolution? Nayyy..

I don't understand Jake's reason slash explanation.. Omg I mean what really was your point, bb Jake? Good points of the novel has to be, the cool secondary characters, heart-fluttering dialogues and very relevant past-present switch of chapters. I liked Charley and Jake but I think character development will happen, must happenen, in the next books.

Still a good novel..

Review:
What a great end to a wonderful trilogy! It is slammed all over again but in a very different way especially a different side. They are just too cute, sweet, damn inlove with each other and always in raging hormones coughs. I love this book; Will's POV; him retelling the story; their honeymoon; their baby, Julia. I'm gonna miss all the characters who are all butterflying bemazing!!

I can’t remember feeling this way since... well, ever. It’s new. It's scary. It’s exciting. It’s nerve-racking. It’s calming. It’s every single emotion I've ever felt balled up into an intense urge to grab hold of her and never let go.

I swooned, giggled, laughed and fell inlove all over again

And I'm very much grateful to Colleen Hover for making all the characters appear at the end because I miss them real real real much!! Their appearance will always be mySWEET.

Kudos to Colleen for this wonderful book, trilogy, love story and life-aspiring characters.
