Synopsis:

When daimons infiltrate the Covenants and attack students, the gods send furies--lesser gods determined to eradicate any threat to the Covenants and to the gods, and that includes the Apollyon... and Alex. And if that and hordes of aether-sucking monsters didn't blow bad enough, a mysterious threat seems willing to do anything to neutralize Seth, even if that means forcing Alex into servitude... or killing her.

HOLY FREAKING GOOD GODS

I was an emotional wreck while reading this. Jennifer Armentrout, I bow down to you. What I really love about this book was IT WAS FRUSTRATING TO NO END. The action and adventure in this book were definitely thrilling and enthralling. AND the romance that surfaced here was definitely A MAGNET!!! I keep craving for more. 

The characters, mainly, Alex was so obstinate and reckless (stupid/irrational) but I really loved that side of her. I really love Seth here though I wish Alex and Seth will end up together, a part of me believes that Jennifer will probably end it with Aiden. I'm not against Aiden okay I love that guy to bits but I just love the rebel, reckless, cocky and warm attitude of Seth. 

I swear the witty and aggressive banters between Alex and Seth WAS TOTAL WORTH GUFFAWING.

“You know what? Lets go." I shot Aiden a defiant look. "Come on Seth. Let's go continue our lovers' quarrel."

"Yes my love, that sounds fantastic. Don't forget to grab a dagger so you can poke my eyeballs out.” 

I almost cried at the angsty part (Aiden & Alex):
