Not exactly very paranormal-ish
Hell yeah, can I be Emma just for a quick second. Brendan is a dreamy oozing hot fic character. I wish he'll lay thosee emerald green eyes on me too (swoosh)
Spell bound wasn't actually really the paranormal novella I'm rooting to read yet it gave me those tingling feeling all over my stomach because of the romance that revolved around the story. The story is more of How To Survive Your High School Days. Come on, all these rumors, bitchy schoolmates with rotten attitude, gothicwitchlab partners, gay friend, good gerl fran and a hotty boyfriend slash soulmate
Basically, the main thing here is forbidden love. Yada yada, all these family curse, this 'your life is in danger', you are a witch, you have powers......Yup yup.. Forbidden Love.
Brendan was hot period
Emma was a cool chic
Angelie, Jenn and Cisco were the 'i always got your back' friends
Ash, Christine were the cool and loving family members (remaining)
Over all, it fascinated me somehow. But I wish for more paranormalcy in the other next books. It was fast read and Brendan will make your mind twirl in 360 degree. That I bet. *smirk*
